So that's readymix that sets in 60 mins?

Yes Tony you mix the powder with the ready mix and it sets in 60 mins so i am going to try it through the boxes and banjo and with the internal finisher next week.

So it's an additive then?

It is a bucket of readymix that comes with the additive powder that you mix together.

so if you were to add more or less of the hardener maybe you could taylor it to your needs maybe? it would be nice to get say 2 or 3 hours to box up & wash your pump out I reckon!

Well, the pump must be cleaned off, I suppose! And also all boxes. Is QuickFill60 made on gypsum base? Maybe not - because it is not look like Sheetrock Easy Sand or Durabond/// Or the second component is gypsum? :)

Hi Guys,

if anyone in the Uk would be interested in trying this material then let me know as I have a few pails out our offices in County Durham.

We looked at launching this product in the UK about 12 months ago and conducted some initial trials with good response - however as always price was key and alot of tapers still prefer to buy powder products and not pay a slight premium for ready mix.

Let me know if its of interest and we can get things moving from there

Wasnt aware you had released this Michael. Good gear man, but whats the word on pricing?

I was so worried about driving up from Newcastle with a big bag of white powder in the back of the car?

:scared1:

Alex,

we havent officially released this product in the Uk - yet !

Everyone we have gave a pail to thinks its great but the big question is would you use it daily / weekly / monthly

The product itself is very good (as you know) but as always with Readymix products they are more expensive than bags of powder

As a top end guide the pail would costs around 16.00 per pail (10ltrs / 13.5Kg)

With Belmore we are looking to bring a pallet in from France where it is made for the European market and start to promote it on www.sheetrockdirect.com (http://www.sheetrockdirect.com) and see how demand grows from there.

It may become a regular but it really depends on what you guys think - not me or the formulators who have created it.

Again if anyone is interested in giving it a go I have about a dozen pails left which we can post out for testing etc

A dozen pails left eh? I'll take another because I used mine back in (you know how long ago it was) and I didnt get to leave feedback. Is it still the same formula, consistency etc?

I would pay the equivalent of a tub of blue top if that helps.
