Hows this for a nightmare job? This is a Persimmon house and we get f**k all extra for taping this monstrosity as its all measured by the m2:flaming:

I've walked away from 3 storey townhouse jobs like this when they wanted the detail thrown in FOC. It looks the dogs baws when painted up, but some contractors fail to realize the work and time involved. My argument was the fixers got paid for it, and the carpet fitter will get weighed in for the same profile on the other side, why should I work for hee haw.

Looks good EK.

Cheers fellas. Jase your right they are 3storey 'Lumley' type houses. And when you go upstairs, its all coombs and veluxs:banghead: It probably adds a shift on to your normal time in the house, and Amestaper - the joiners never got extra either and they were 2 days on the stair! Not a happy site at the moment but thankfully they aint building any more of this type

Done well there, mate done a few of these absolute nightmare very time consuming, on some sites they do the chicken wire and plaster thing if done right I think looks a lot better especially as it save a few hours

If the gaffer said to me it was to be done on a meterage, then i'd tell him that he is the best one to do it and to deduct the 5 metres or so from my measure.

I remember metaling the "Leicester" type 3 story house's with the same stair type, only had 2 drop bulkheads, at turn in the stairs, all the rest were flat, and quicker than doing all that, for everyone!

Lol , reminds of a job where there was built a whole audio/ video furniture thingy in the wall , i must say it was very well build , Room for VHS / DVD / CD the lot, is asked " what do you want me to do with that ? you gonna put a wooden facade on it ?"
-reply: " I have constructed it so that you have 2mm ( = 0.86 inch or something ) to put the beads on and my DVD's and CD's will fit perfectly !"
-me: " :w00t: "
