Hello,

I work at MENZER in Germany (Miotools is one of our resellers) and were always interested in improving our products to meet consumer demands. May I ask why 230 V is not suitable? I thought that in the UK mains voltage was 230 V. Isnt that right? What would you need instead? 110 V?

Hello Nadine yes we use 110v on the building sites in the uk.

Is that always the case or just in some regions? I searched the internet and found lots of construction machines such as industrial vacuums or floor sanders sold in the UK equipped with a 230 V motor.

yes in the construction industry it is always 110v, house building or commercial, only in the private sector (small builders doing extensions) wuold they use 230v

Does anyone on here use any of these drywall sanders or hoovers? These seem to be the only product that I can't find much info on with regards to reviews

Built in Germany I believe which indicates good quality.

If you like to have a look at customer reviews, you could check Amazon (http://www.amazon.de/s/ref=sr_nr_p_89_0?rh=n%3A80084031%2Ck%3AMENZER%2Cp_ 89%3AMENZER&keywords=MENZER&ie=UTF8&qid=1376216438&rnid=669059031). All the reviews are in German there, but maybe you could use Google translator in order to read them. Its not a very good translation but it is understandable, I think.
