Had a request from a client to tape 2 garage ceilings with no doors fitted yet. They are open to the elements in the middle of December. Temperatures in the last week have been between -5C to 10C and we've had wind, rain, sleet and snow.

My dilemma is, he wants it taped, and I've warned what may happen so who looks like a prick when the tapes crack?

Customer is always right. You did your job telling him your concerns, do the work and if it get damaged, bill him for repair work. Dont let job satisfaction come into it, did the guys who hung the drywall give a damn? I dont think so.
