Default Which make of automatic taping tools do you all use

Hi i am looking to gather some statistics together to help with our parts stock, this will obviously benefit any of you guys out there that are running some of the rarer branded tools in the uk.

If you could reply with the following:

    1: Automatic taper = (eg Tapetech,Columbia,Blueline etc)
    2: Flatboxs = (eg Tapetech,Columbia,Blueline etc)
3: Corner Finisher (Angle Head) = (eg Tapetech,Columbia,Blueline etc)
4: Flatbox Handle = (Make & If std or extendable)
    5: Corner Box = (eg Tapetech,Columbia,Blueline etc)
6: Drywall Sander = (eg Flex ,Porter Cable, Festool, Gyproc, Mirka etc)

Thanks for your time and appreciate the feedback - as mentioned it will really help with making sure we have all the parts on the shelf ready to keep your tools taping!!

In case you didn't know, you can also set up a poll if you're looking for user feedback or want to do a general survey.

1: Automatic taper = Tapetech and Premier ((blueline) old, but in working order)
2: Flatboxs = Tapetech and Premier (blueline) jumbo
    3: Corner Finisher (Angle Head) = Tapetech 3" & Drywall Master 3.5" or 4"
4: Flatbox Handle = Tapetech 3 different sizes
    5: Corner Box = Tapetech 7"
6: Drywall Sander = Flex with Nilfisk vacuum

3 pumps are tapetech (2) and premier drywall ( 1) and the corner roller is Tapetech.

Happy New Year to you too.

    I use the apla-tech setup.

Cannon, 10 gallon pump, applicators and finishers.
Added to that I use a better than ever combo flusher and northstar corner finisher.
Sanding is with a festool sander, gyproc vacuum, a radius 360 pole sander and a regular rectangular head pole sander.

Why don't you use the Canon with the corner finisher? Got to be easier and less cack handed than that giant syringe.

he he he. my post sounded wrong. I don't use one of those syringes (have tried them and they are pretty useless). what I meant was, I use the combo flusher for bedding my tapes as opposed to a corner roller and then finish the corners with my cannon and a northstar internal corner head.

I use a Rol-plow for bedding corner tapes, and the same as you to finish. Quick as .....!

yeah, rol-plough is what I had to start with. lost it somewhere though and then replaced it with a combo-flusher, which is essentially the same thing, just a different name. lovely tool, I like it a lot more than the roller/2.5 inch head combo. some people can't get on with them though...

    Thumbs up

Rather strange choice according to the replies so far-Tapeworm bazooka, pump and corner roller all the rest Speedtape Pro. Sanding done by hand-I believe that the less surplus material/snots/crumbs etc left on the board = less sanding

Funny you should mention Tapeworm, I looked for some schematics from them a few days ago and my search uncovered hee haw. I don't know if they manufacture those tools anymore, as their website is registered to online drywall and tapeworm typed into google finds murco's site. Thats not a good sign Deck
