    Hi Craig
No you cant. Adhesve is for securing the underside of plasterboard to a brick wall dot-dab & bonding can be used to fill any large gaps in the sheets before taping. should not be any filling to do with bonding if the hanger has joined the sheets tight

Use quick setting filler (45 or 90 minute) with scrim or paper tape to join the boards. Finish with joint cement building it up over 2 coats until it s flat.

I know a taper who first coats in bonding then 12" straight over the top of that....just the 2 coats, god knows how he gets away with it but he does ! I would not want to put my name to it though.

I know tapers that do that too, because it's cheaper than fast set. Cowboys!

Ok, what is the recipe for fast set, joint cement, obviously, but what is the setting agent?

If you had say a 75/25 mix of joint cement (75) and bonding (25) or 80/20 etc, would that be the same as fast set?

NB. I only use Easi Fill, cos I think it's great, expensive, unless anyone knows where to get it cheap(er).
