    Thanks for the link, but I heard you have to be foreign national living in Hackney to stand a chance of working there.
    I'd love to be proven wrong however.

    We wouldn't be cheap enough to work there. And anyway, I couldn't work somewhere knowing that all my good work was going to be destroyed by some fella wearing a rucksack.

    From guys I know who worked at the Olympic Village sites in Barcelona and Atlanta, they made megabucks. Just a thought, but it makes you wonder where all the money's going if the tradesmen aren't being paid much? Wonder if anyone who works at the Olympics site will post and set the record straight?

    When you compare the budget for London with the previous Olympic host countries, it's no wonder they are using foreign labour to save money. The tradesmen won't be earning a fortune, the recession will see to that.
