    Default Gyptone/Quattro board

Happy New year all. How many have jointed said board, what are we looking (roughly) for a M2 price.

Any tips on jointing it. We have been asked to fit and joint 2 ceilings, 4m high (we're doing the metal) Cheers

Hiya Brian and happy new year to you and all, did some just before christmas about 250m we were paid 4.00 a sq m supply. it was high but totally scaffolded out for us so could do everything without benches or crates. I found easiest to put it on with my 4in scrape then trowel, kept a lot of it out of the holes. Needs 3 proper coats though as you have no room to lose any boarding probs. If you do fill any holes leave till it goes off a lot easier.

As Crack Filler says, but I was getting a fiver a metre, ten years ago, and certainly wouldn't do it for less. You literally have the width of the tapers onthe long side of the board, and probably a foot or so on each board at the butt joint.
