    Default Lightbulbs and lawnmowers

Watched some news this morning seeing all the MPs get rightly torn apart about their expenditure they claim back as allowances for porno movies, dog food, a mattress, gardening, second homes etc. Actually not voting at the next election because there all tossers.
Whats the craziest thing you've claimed back that you maybe shouldt have or the items you would most like to claim back as an expense? I dont work for the inland revenue.

    Default odd purchases for work

well I took a patch and repaint job last month to fill time. The tenets had left the house a mess and despite the homeowners assurances that he'd do the washing, once it came time to pre wash the walls, he was no where to be found. So i expensed a mob and bucket and wiped the walls with a sponge floor mop. look ma, clean hands! BTW, if i get stuck with that job I always bill a full days labour, though it usually takes 2 hrs. TSP is a wonderful thing.
Next best would be a potato masher to mix mud when i didn't feel like buying yet another mixing bar becasue I'd left mine home or on another job. Didn't expense that though. I just quietly used it and slipped away into the night.

I'll be claiming every business lunch, stamp, rubberband and paperclip back from now on methinks. The greedy bastards dont set a very good example to taxpayers. With hindsight I regret not having claimed some long haul flights and holidays as business trips.

...and perhaps a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th property free from capital gains tax. Anyone considering standing as MP at the next election?

They got caught with their hands in the till and should be treated as criminals. Bollocks they can pay it back with no legal action like any normal taxpayer would be facing in the circumstances. Dont think for a minute the inland renvenue wouldn't take us all the way and convict us of benefit fraud or tax evasion etc? Wheres Guy Fawkes when you need him?
