    Default Knauf airless plaster

Hi there very one am new to the forum, and could do with some help and tips, on Knauf airless spray plaster.

Am a Decorator by trade, and have gone into this sort of work due to following crap plasters, i live in the Isle of man by the way, so we are abit behind the times lol.

I have been and done the Knauf course Down Kent , was ok but till your on site doing the work its totally different.
I have done 3 small jobs with the gear and the finish was spot on, even the builders have said its better than skim.

The things am looking at is how to get going with tap and joint before i spray, whats the best jointing compound,
Can i use fast set compound with a banjo, and Angle flusher, i don't have them yet but will get one if i get some good feed back.
Hope you can help me out.

    Cheers TT

Hi fella, welcome to the forum. Knauf plaster must be better than their jointing compound- its SH!TE! Best try the British Gypsum joint filler and cement. By all means buy a flusher and banjo, but I wouldnt put fast set thru it cos if it sets your tools are gubbed! Joint cement thru your banjo for angles is best

Hi Dobietaper, do you mean fill the flats with mp75 , I will be spraying Knauf airless plaster on top, I have read about mp75 some people like it and some hate it , does it set pretty fast ??? As I need to spray the same day to make money .

    cheers

BG joint filler sets in 90mins from mixing.
The cement is an air-drying compound so will dry depending on the room temperature and also how thick you're putting it on. Its good if you have heat in this weather, it helps the drying time for cement
