    Default Would you?

Use your generator all day to power lights or run a lead from a finished house with power?

The assistant site manager was moaning today about my lead stretched halfway across the site, it's a 50m lead and apart from approx 3m where it crosses a road (lead protected by scaff planks) the rest is out of harms way, he didn't have an answer and walked off mumbling when I asked him why they made a 50m lead if it wasn't safe to unreel it all

And yes, I told him there was no way i was running my generator all day to power lights!

No I wouldn't, and he was probably mumbling about the electricity bill they have to pay because you wouldn't use your genny.
Your messages are really important to us
...but not important enough to employ a sufficient number of support staff to answer them.

I grudge having to use my genny for when I'm sanding a house never mind lights etc. Barratt site I'm on supplies gennys and the agent comes in the other day with lights "for when it's getting dark around half 3"
the only lights I've got on at that time is the headlights on the van
