Hi Phill have you placed order for quad roller yet? I'm convinced I have one and no where near as expensive as sig, let me know. Madmax not sure what to say but trying to get an answer for you.

Are you using the quad roller to set the bead? I'm ordering one from TapePro through SIG, but 120 without a handle...
I mudset those slimlines when I used them last, though I did staple a couple of long lengths that were high up. Worked fine and felt solid. I'm just going to do a glue heavy mix for setting them next time to be sure.
Are you just using PVA? I ordered Mudmax but customs don't seem to want to release it.

Looking forward to running the compound tube and external head for laying up next week, been doing it by hand for 10 years...

Fingers crossed the mudset version of the bead arrives soon!
Yea Joe was very good 2 me with the stuff he sent me!
I do believe I was the 1 that started the Trim-Tex era over here as I was the only 1 that he had sent stuff to!! I was ment to meet Joe in Edinburgh for newyear when he was here but I was ill!(Gutted)
Compound tube is great for heaps o stuff! Yea pva from Marcus,I use about a gallon a house,(250sm floor area) for putting on tapes and beads!
Yea the quad roller I use as he sent me that also! And then a nice person called Marcus gave me another!! I mean sold me!!!

I don't think I have, they didn't get back to me today so if you can find one that'd be brilliant!
I did ask if you were able to get any more in stock first but I think that got lost among the million questions I'm always asking you
Would always get stuff from you if I can!

Marcus is the guy 2 get PVA from! Travis Perkins is 20 for 5ltrs and Marcus is about 7.50.
And then u got the freemans at about the same price,So I just like to put it in as it's not really costing me!

    Good info, cheers.

Yeah used it in BG joint filler before. Stops it letting go if you're patching up a painted surface too.

Really you should not be adding anything too any taping compound/ filler that you are using . Bang goes your guarantee from the material manufacture. Been taping for over 30 years and never had any tapes come of that are bedded in properly.

Should trimtex stop making their mudmax stuff then? And what about that never miss tint?

I dont add anything for bedding paper but when working with vinyl beads then the extra adhesion is welcomed.

Well'If u read some of the stuff on pail's it will tell u not 2 thin it down bla, bla, bla!
U ever tried putting straight filler through a gun?
A bit of glue in ur filler will never hurt it and will only help! And who would b telling them!
