    A bit of glue in ur filler will never hurt it and will only help! And who would b telling them!
    it grabbed those trim tex beads nice that's for sure.

    Also gtec easyfinish xtra mixed in with the freemans/pva combo makes a lovely smooth setting compound too. Minster had some that was just out of date for 5 a bag. Ideal. Coated up the beads with it today, very little shrinkage and nice to work with. Still wouldn't recoat in the same day though.

    I've never put filler through a gun, only air drying compounds. How do you clean out the gun after using filler ?

    I wouldn't dare haha. I only use setting compounds by hand.

    Yea I meant readymix not as in BG filler! Not going to try that 1!

    If I still had a garage id order a pallet and stock up, I think my shed would sink if I loaded it up too much!

    Well I had chance to use the freemans (albeit only 1/4 of a box ) only hand taped, very nice to use, sanded easy to, will defo get some more
    No sample beads or prices arrived yet Marcus

    oh seen as no one will be getting fresh boxes any time soon here is what I found to be a good use for the old ones when on site sat and sundays.... u guessed it! nice big shit. they work a dream. might just take a couple to glasto next year.

    Hahaha. They make a good slop bucket/bin also.
    Back on the smartmix next week by the looks of it. New buckets at least.

    another day another text from belend tools saying they will ring about the freemans but nothing lol.. why don't we all get to gether and help poor Marcus by sending back our old boxes, feel free to fill them up first with what ever comes to mind....
