    I greased mine once, maybe 6 years ago. It was getting hot to the point of struggling to turn and had to keep stopping to let it cool down.
    Problem was it was a massive house with high ceilings. Went back to keeping the head flat instead of bending it vertically and no issues since.

    Does anyone use the Menzer sander/vac? Seen it mentioned on this thread. Just wondering if its any good! Cheers.

    I have been using a q tech sander for 2 years now with absolutely no problems ( touch wood) wouldn't go back to flex now. Have a friend that uses the menzer sander and he rates it highly, bit heavy but powerful. Seems a decent bit of kit.

    Nope and neither have I on my original porter cable 7800. only ever replaced backing pads and bristles.
