    Default sanding machine advice

I have been looking to replace my flex wse500 and old tired vacuum.
Has anyone tried the new flex, looks like it has no holes in the sanding disc?

And I was after reviews on the edx hoover.
Was wondering if it takes bags or not. Don't really want to use bags.
Are there any hoover/dust extractors better.
I need 110 cost is not a issue.
    Thanks in advadvance
    Pete

Hilti hoover is the best IMO, but I would still use bags to prolong the life of the filters and motor. About 600 plus vat.

The Flex is ok, and I've used the unholy sandpaper , its good too. As said above, best use a bag

I have the edx it is okay but has a few flaws! zip on bag breaks easy, heavy to lump about, cable knock the dials when in use etc
i also have a nilfisk alto-aero 26-21 pc. which in imo is far superior. the bags are cheap but the hole is big enough to empty out and re-use.very light & extremely quiet.

I would go with the nilfisk alto anytime pretty bullet proof and plenty powerful, but would always use a bag .

Thanks for your help with the hoover.
I have ordered a nilfisk alto at around 150.

I am now deciding if I should stick with the wse 500 or try the new ge5.

If this link works you can see the new head available.
I would love to hear from anyone who has seen or used it.
    Cheers.

I bought a sparky 110v vac as a quick fix, what an absolute piece of crap that turned out to be. At 90 I knew it wasn't going to be of festool standards but also thought it would last for more than 2 weeks!
    Avoid !

Ha! The Sparky caused me all sorts of grief a while back , Artex were renting them out. Seemed like I was sending it back every week!
