Default How to covert linear metres into a m2

    drywallschool.com

    Hi Lads,

Just stumbled across this forum while i was looking for information. Looks excellent and offers a wealth of knowledge.

Im just going to jump right in and ask a question. I am currently working on a tender and the BOQ has the taping in linear. Any time I have priced from a BOQ previously its always been in m2. It has me stumped. How can I convert this?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers!

Find out what the ceiling height is and multiply that by the wall lengths (linear measure)
Surely the ceilings are in square metres?

    Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for your help Tony. I'll have a play about with the measure and see how it looks. There is a lack of information on the bill. The job is a hanger in an airport. So there will be a lack of actual ceilings.

Looking forward to trawling through all the old posts reading up on some tips.
