When you do use the readymix pro lite you will throw the other BG stuff in the skip and I have no idea why anyone stocks it or uses the original readymix? F*ck pole sanding a whole house down taped with that stuff, its awful and I bet BG know it. Ive already given them my feedback when they asked for an opinion on it.

Some trivia for you. Did you know that British Gypsum actually dont make the readymix lite themselves?

PS. Its just ok for all 3 coats but not a replacement for a setting compound for bedding in corner tapes etc.

I use easi fill 45 or 90, gyproc joint filler (red bag) and Ive used a couple of bags of USG setting compound equivalent a few weeks ago which was good stuff.

Just depends on job spec and costs really. Whether or not it needs to be coated twice in a day, or if theres a spec on materials and what the nearest builders merchant sells if Im away from home. I just have to be resourceful jimbo.

I tried Promix Lite for a while but found it had no guts for coating beads. Nice to rub down and good for flat joints. Cheap too, was paying about 10.50 for 17 ltr tub.

13.75 + vat web price includes shipping per tub, if you buy more than 8-10 only pay one pallet price for shipping and order as much as you need green top currently 11.80 + ship and vat not as good for finishing more of a taping compound
