Default Parking charges and traffic wardens

Anyone got anything good to say about parking charges or traffic wardens?

I was invited to tender for a job at the end of the summer in the centre of Edinburgh that should have taken approx 2 months to complete. A potentially great renovation job but it was the worst possible location. The streets are dug up for a new tram network, and there is no parking so we would have to use a multi storey park 2 minutes from the site that charges

    .... wait for it....

133 a week to park your vehicle.

I eventually decided after 10 seconds to give this one a miss as the client didnt want to hear these costs had to be passed on, and whilst driving past the aforementioned site yesterday, I noticed the job was still no further forward and no work had been done. So, can anyone quote me a mortgage sized monthly car parking charge like this one?

I will leave any traffic warden comments for someone else as they bug me too and its 60 a ticket these days.

If i'm on a good rate, then i'll foot the parking charges, but the parking must be near to the job. I've turned up on jobs before to be told there is no parking, so i've left again and not done the job.

500 a month is taking the piss for one space. If I happen to make millions in future, maybe I could consider demolishing all my property and building car parks on the empty space if they can really make that kind of turnover.

    (Shaking my head in disbelief)

Should have said that i'd never pay that much though. Not even if I was on 2k a week.

Never saw a car park ask for such a large amount before, and cant customer arrange a parking permit for you? or what about using public transport to comute to the site and ask merchants for orders to be delivered?
Jesus loves you........ everyone else thinks you're an arsehole.
