    Default Estimating software enquiry


    Does anyone use any good estimating software they can recommend?
    Your messages are really important to us

    This is the best software i find - made by casio i think the way to make it work is total your price then take off 50 % like every one else seems to be doing at the moment !!! ggrrrrrr (lets start getting prices up pleaaassseee !!!)

    Tried easypricepro on trial for while but to be faier with so many different types of parition and ceiling construction to price nowadays, i was spending more time inputting the data and materials than actually pricing the jobs !

    I have a good one I use but it's around 1700 to buy - but it's fast and very accurate.

    Happy to do some take off's / measures etc with it for you if the drawings are in electronic versions.

    I actually meant free software. Sorry my fault.
    Can this import digital pdf plans etc?

    Yes - imports pdf's - dwg's - tiff files etc and you then set the scale based on the drawing.

    If for example you needed a take off for 100 apartments with say 10 different apartment types, its around 1 days work - manually through excel etc I would say around 3 days work.

    Im currently trying to tender for Painting/decorating and ames taping work. If i get some drawings in the formats your software supports, would it be possible for you to price them for me. Any help would be much appreciated.

    8 months late but you need: Bluebeam Revu, digital take offs,etc. 1 Problem you cant buy it in this country but there are ways of obtaining it "Wink wink" let me know I can point in right direction.
