    Default TSI drywall finishing system

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9GQo...eature=related

has anyone come across this system, its a spray unit that pumps drywall mud, the technology is in the head of the gun. There is a chemically soaked paper that is chopped up in the gun and mixed with the drywall mud as it leaves the gun

    The paper has 2 purposes
    1, reinforce the material
2, advance the set of the mud.
so the material does not set until you have sprayed it on the wall.
The big thing is the fact you do not need to tape your joints or corners.
The system looks brilliant if it does what it claims, i spoke to a knob who sells it in america and he reckons its superb but expensive. The money is in the rolls of paper. Nobody does it here but how easy would that be to prep your work

I think it's hard enough to get people to have taping rather than skimming, let alone say to them,"We're going to tape your job but we're not going to use any tape."

or just put the special mud through a mud tube... no spray kit. its the no crack no tape mud thats the bollocks not some spray nonsence... if we could first coat negating both scrim and paper tape that would be graet.... then we will just get another pay cut because our job is sooo easy and we are too fast earning too much money. more hate from other trades lol
