I've nearly finished taping a pair of large 3 bed semis on a small development. It's been tape/joint 3 coats with drywall sealer to finish. I've used the USG tape on beads on the externals and No-Coat 325 on the off angles. The building contractor has another development starting soon but the spec there is for skimming internally. The developer came around today for a look and was that impressed by the finish ( he was running his hands along the walls expecting to feel humped joints and a rough finish) that they are now talking of changing the spec for the next job. He'll save money due to the price differential between skimming and jointing, and i'll get a nice run of work. How to cultivate a job, eh!
