    Default Decking.

Jet washed my decking yesterday 1st decent sunny day this year (were i live) and was supprised at the amount of growth on it , i treated it last year with decking oil, but is there anything you can do to prevent the growth of green alge type slime growing? Its clean now but i don`t want to spend 32.99 on decking oil if there something else i should be doing first? any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a lot of trees or greenery around your deck?

No, problem sorted now, just didnt clean it properly for a few years and was a build up of moss etc, so when it was clean & dry used a good oil to protect it. Will do it every year now.
