They were mentioned over here last May http://www.tapingandjointing.com/for...drywall-sander and Belmore reckoned they wont be cheap.

Let me Google "Flex WST 700" for you for a few prices

    Default Saw one today

Went to the tool fair at Exeter Westpoint today . There was an exhibitor there with a Flex tool display and they had a 240V version of the Vario Plus. There was a rep from Flex there and he said that the 110v model should be available at the end of May, but they were taking orders today. How much? I presume that because most of you are at your computers, that you are sitting down. The normal price is 859 + vat but if I ordered today, I could have had one for 859 inc vat. It is a really well made piece of kit, with 2 yrs manufacturers warranty but that's still a bit steep for me. It is in fact on a par with the Festool Planex 225 which the Festool stand were selling at 744 + vat.

We couldn't try the Flex out but it is heavier than the standard Giraffe sander and has a more powerful motor. The triangular head is also going to save a lot of time hand sanding right in the corners (for those of us that do).

I may not have one of these sanders, but I do have a nice Flex biro.
