Default The best oil for tools

Hi guys, just a quick note and not trying to teah you how to suck eggs.

The best oil to use on Taping tools is 3 in 1 spray, not WD40. when I worked for TapeTech we tested the 3 in 1 spray and it was almost the same as Ames Bazooka oil.
WD40 will over time loosen screws and nuts on the tools and expand rubbers on tools like the mudrunner stopping them from opperating properly.

    hope it helps

I agree, WD40 is a penetrator that does funny things to your kit over time.
I use 3 in 1 or a silicon based oil spray if theres no oil available, with no problems so far. Anyone else used it?

I would use butter from my sandwich if the tools seized up and I had no oil.
Have used plumbers silicon grease with no problem.

That'll be right. NOTE: Will keep extra virgin olive oil in my lunchbag so I dont ever need to use what you considered using.
