    Default Timber frame houses

    Real-Debrid

Arent timber framed houses a pain in the arse! 20X more screws and the site im on at the moment the timber panels are very warped. Joints are so bad one will be deep and the next the box will leave massive edges where the boards are all in and out.

The ceiling lines look awful when they are finished and painted!

No doubt the recession isnt helping when some contractors use any old cheap sh!t and leave the timber lying around outside in the rain.

I read an article somewhere last week about timber kits suffering a higher percentage of fire damage than other types of builds. We all know this but some Einstein has just made it official, so there may be changes to regulations at some point.
