    Default No-Coat Ultraflex 325

Any of you chaps used this? Picked up a couple of boxes this week and am quite impressed with the quality and ease of application. 30 odd a box though for 30 mtrs. Watch the videos at www.no-coat.com.

I used it twice on well paid jobs and reckon its good quality. At around a pound a linear metre I made sure I didnt waste much.
PS. The video link you sent in that shows them beating the shit out of that corner with a stick. I like it, its tough stuff Sir!
Jesus loves you........ everyone else thinks you're an arsehole.

I'm going to get the proper corner roller for it as I reckon this puts it on tighter. I don't think it will ever compete pricewise with normal flex tape, even if it uses less mud and is quick to apply, but for jobs where you can get a decent rate for beads, it would be a goer for me .

I used it on a house a couple of months ago and was impressed. A bit awkward at first to get used to, but i have to admit its quality. Anything that saves a coat gets thumbs up from me

The basic hoppers start around 80-90, and the correct roller is about 100. With the roller. Before use, check that the wheel retaining nuts are tight, because if they are at all loose, the metal centre of the roller will scratch the paper corner of the Ultraflex.
    Here's my set up.

    And

You need the roller with the long straight bushes for the wider corner beads like No Coat and USG B1W & B1U

I was using No-coat all the time until I tried the USG tape on beads. No-Coat 1.11 + vat a metre. USG B1W 48p + Vat a metre.
