Default Are things picking up again?

    Real-Debrid

Maybe it's just me, but I have noticed over the last week or so that my phone is now ringing on a daily basis and I am not having to actively go out and seek work any more. I have had several job offers since last Thursday (all in Scotland).

Has anyone else noticed a difference lately?

I've picked up two jobs this week so far. About 6 weeks work in total, and at my normal rates.

The phone keeps ringing with increased regularity. I currently get about 1 to 2 job leads a day, around 4-5 employment enquiries a day, and about 1 call from Gorilla Hardware a week....

Very difficult turning these calls into serious work as consumers know they can afford to shop around and get a tradesman for a real bargain. We manage to stay busy but find we do a lot more painting, coving and tiling than we used to.

Everyone seems to be doing up their houses just now.

    Good luck guys!

Barely ticking over with plaster, harling and render work on private contracts. Not making big bucks, just keeping the wolves from the door.

Phone went mad last week. Picked up 2 houses to tape, a barn conversion to tape, and a house to cove. Also have meeting tomorrow about boarding & taping 6 large flats.
