What do you guys charge for supply and fixing bg 5'' coving? Its been so long since i've done any coving and just curious to see what going rate is.

Well Stuart the going rate (supplying) when I packed up was apparently anything between 3 to 11 a linear metre depending on where you lived. I was charging 6 - 7 a metre.

6- 7 a metre sounds about right for our neck of the woods i was charging about 5 the last time i did coving on a regular basis, tghe last time i did any coving was about 2 and a half years ago, before the recesion kicked in i was doing quite alot pretty soon its going to be obsolete i think.

You would be lucky to get more than 1-1.20 per m,labour only, site bashing around here....

You would be lucky to get more than 1-1.20 per m,labour only, site bashing around here....Where you based about? Thats probably what the subbies i work for would pay ( central scotland) theres no way i would do coving for that price, i was getting 1.70 plm back in 2002

Forest of Dean,working in south Wales.....hand on heart, even 10 years ago the prices were about the same.....come the revolution brother....lol

Site bashing, we're on 1.25 pm, but doing private work, extentions etc , its generally around 5-6 pm.
Obviously on sites we dont have to supply the cove
