Painter & Decorators/Tapers

Responding to an earlier post on this forum I wondered how many Painter & Decorators would consider themselves proficient enough to call themselves "Tapers" as well?

I think most of them do, if they can fill a hole or tape a flat joint then they can tape :D

i would consider myself a competant taper but i dont think i am fast enough to earn good money on price work as most of my experience has been on barn conversions and renovations in france where i did all the boarding as well.

I am a time served Painter & Decorator and hold an advanced crft city & guilds in it,i also do a lot of ames taping,almost excluisevly new builds,have plenty of experience in both trades.

i concider my self as a taper too :) as every house i paint i tape it before hand :) isnt this the same with plasterers who tape? ;) aha
