    hi new member here,been taping for 30yrs in and around west of scotland,fortunately i havent had to work for pishimmon for years but i hear they are stiil up to the same old crap
    be interested if anyone remembers the old silver bazookas which first came out over here

    Welcome to the site. Unfortunately Im still a young man and can only remember as far back as the gold or blue taping guns. Impressed with 30 years on the tools, not many guys like you about.

    thanks for the welcome,mate the tools i refer to were silver and im sure they came from ames taping company belmont califorinia

    If the guy worked with the Ames bros they must be pretty good tools? After a few hours use, I would have them that broken in that you wouldnt notice what colour they were anyway

    Welcome Butterfly,
    I remember them well, unpainted tools which left your hands with a black grime like you've been on aluminium ladders all day.
    I can also remember you had to break them in, the head of the gun was very stiff but they eased off after two or three houses
    happy days EH!!!
