typical just when I thught I was busy went in this morning to find the firm I was working for have gone under a few on here might know them Millen drylining, had a phone call from a mate last night to give me a warning that the firm he is working for have been asked to take over from Monday. Have met with them and might start with them but it could be all talk plus I would lose the 2 plots I have completed this week, gutted.

At the end of last summer I bought several hundred pounds worth of materials and stilts to do a job which never materialised through no fault of my own. Managed to get through most of the gear on smaller jobs before it went out of date but the stilts are still unused.

Feel bad for you too mate. I shouldve said so earlier but something came up before I had finished posting. Not much consolation if youve lost the two houses you done but hope you get a start with that new mob.

Sorry to hear that Steve.
Isn't it great though that the main contractor has somebody waiting to fill Millens shoes? They really don't give a damn, as long as their programme isn't affected.
