    Default Mud Pump

    Real-Debrid

How does the filter on the bottom come off, unscrew or pull/tap off?

Want to give it a good clean

Do you mean the metal gauze filter? If so its a simple case of unscrewing the nut.

    Thanks for the replies
I have a drywall master pump, theres a wing nut on the gauze, and 3 screws round the outside of the pump.
The metal piece the gauze is in has 2 lugs on the outside.

I want to take the filter off and get inside the bottom of the pump to the discs with the holes in

You'll need to undo the lot then. It'll probably be a little seized up.

Tap it, or unscrew it though

It's just the wing nut that comes off,on almost all brands, and there are different gauges (hole sizes) of screens you can install too, or just double up your screens, but the smaller the holes the harder it is to pump and they clog faster. but you will run cleaner mud
