    Default 3.5"angle heads

    Real-Debrid

at the moment i use a 3" angle head twice on my internals. this leaves quite an edge, hence lots of sanding ... i was thinking about buying a 3.5" angle head for my second flush do any of you guys out there use one or do you have any advice.

I've got a 3.5" northstar. Use it twice for internals leaves a nice clean edge.
But you shouldn't have any problems with a 3". You may want to tinker with the blades. That could be your problem if it's leaving a thick edge.
    How old is it?

There's nothing wrong if your wife has white curly hair, just as long as it don't feel woolly

the way the tools are designed is for the smaller of the 2 heads to be used 2nd, the idea is it puts 2 coats over the tape and feathers out the edges cleaner, requiring less sanding. it is a bit counter intuitive and alot of guys do it the other way, but that is the design....

2inch head when taping with bazooka, then 3inch head to corner finish works a treat.

The 2 inch is lovely to use.

Never seen the point of having two different heads. If the 3" is set up right you should not get an edge bedding the tape in or covering it imho...

Could be the your mix is too thin?

I have mine thicker than I have for Internals but slightly thinner than I have for Boxing.

Not sure. It a little bit thinner than for 12 box. Quite a new butterfly so just persevere

There's every chance you're putting on more than enough with your first coat, so your second coat is merely skimming over it. Think that's what's happening with mines
