Still too slow
Another year has passed and i must be the slowest taper on here just finish a job 600 square meters 100 meters metal tape 3.4 meter high ceilings coombed ceilings up stairs took me 11 days with my apprentice who is only just starting to get in to it .
One good thing is the contracter is very happy with work and will be getting me back but could not work any harder if i tried just don't know how everyone on here is so fast

Speed isn't everything Jimbo. As long as the customer is happy and you are earning a living, don't let it bother you.

Don't worry jimbo. Neatness first. Speed comes second.

Hey Jimbo dont get too down about it , its surprising how much longer a job takes when you got 3.4m high ceilings. I recently finished a job with 3.4m ceilings and it p*ssed me off big style cos it seemed to take forever. If your contractor is happy then good on ya. (stick a bit on top of your rate next time though, to cover yourself)
