Tried to order some of these from Belmore a year or so ago only because I thought they looked flash but were out of stock. But bought a few of his blue handled stainless knives, still going now. I can lose them but not break them.

    150mm, that's 6 inches right ?????

It would be cool if they made a 10" knife like that, it would be good to attach to a pole to use as a wiping knife. They would be easy to keep clean and wipe excess mud off.

    Here's a knife from advance, http://www.walltools.com/store/advan...combo-kit.html

Everyone is liking the 6" (150mm) one, and the mud pan. The knife has square sides to it, excellent if you half to coat one side of a internal angle. We also found it good for the installation of the no-coat or midflex. Turn the knife on it's side to force the edge of the no-coat down.

Personally I would of never bought the knives on my own, they looked cheap and gimmicky to me, but I was sent some by advance to try. I'm a Hawk and trowel type lad,so I can't give a honest opinion on the larger knives but I find myself using the 150mm (6") all the time now.

It's my favourite 6" toy to play with now

I have the Cool grip Advance knifes as well, The 6 is great. And advances mixer is very good.

2Buck, I got a black handled plasterex floor scraper, took out the big floor blade and got the blade off a goldblatt 12inch knife and fitted it to the floor scraper handle, Thats a sweet scraper/wipedown etc knife, And you can take a steel threaded paint roller handle of your choice, Long/short/extendable etc, then take a big plastic handled knife of your choice and cut off the handle about an inch or so up at its thickest point, Get a drill and drill a hole up in it just smaller than the paint roller thread, Heat it and the steel thread of the paint roller handle and screw the knife handle to the roller handle, It will fit if you get it right then you can have a great wipedown knife, The small extenable paint roller handles are perfect for this.
