Backstage passes
We were lucky enough to get backstage passes for the Prestonpans Music Festival on Saturday and watched the headline act from the side of the stage. Here's a photo of my son who's also a kickass guitarist, and Mr Jon Fratelli just before his band went onstage and played a blinding set.

A good saturday for you and your lad then Alex, did he pass on any tips or coaching?
With a bit of luck your lad could earn a living/fortune from music

Gogobot, Dead Sea Souls, Norquay, Spike Island, Art of Privelage, NTrance and a few cover, dance and techno bands/DJ's. 30 something acts on 3 stages I think.

None at all mate and anything that saves him from having to actually work for a living when he gets older is money well spent. He has the talent, we just have to watch his balls dont get too big that he falls over them. We've been to invite only gigs where we've been in the company of good musicians before, but my first time backstage and a great experience to see everyone buzzing around at 100 mph with guitars, drums and amps etc. Big thanks to the event organisers, John & Diane Wilson for making this happen.
