Drive cable grease
Dont buy expensive grease for your sanders drive cable from the manufacture I use a pot of high temperature bearing grease from any good carparts shop.I clean and grease my sander head and drive cable every couple of months and the tub of grease will last a lifetime.

Would copper grease you use on car brakes work?

Alex copper grease goes to mush very quickly due to the high speed and temprature
Of course you could always buys belmore official Flex grease in a handy syringe!

What colour is the grease you are using as I used some grey stuff before and it clogged up and fecked the bearing,and that was supposed to be high velocity!

Hi the grease is a greeny/brown colour called high performance bearing grease,my sander is 3-4 years old and still on the original bearing.
