Default easier way of cutting corner tape

    drywallschool.com

Make yourself a box out my thick plywood a bit bigger than the size of a box of cornertape. So when cutting it will just pull out a lot easier, not have to hold it between your feet and will not unravel everywhere.

2Buck he's talking about the metal flex external corner tape with 2 strips of metal bonded to paper tape.
One of the suppliers already does a holder/dispenser, just can't remeber where I've seen it.

hi my box is made out of good thick ply I found in a skip. The sides are slightly bigger than a box of flex and the two ends and bottom wider than than the flex itself the top remains open so you can just pop the flex in and pull out easily.By making it out of this material it will stand alone and wont tip when you pull the tape out.

That sounds good, hoping to move away from flex and go to the USG stick bead, but I will have a go at that.

I'm a bit lost wi this one I'm afraid. I always just take the flex OUT the box anyway and hold it in my left hand while measuring & cutting it wi my right. Too fiddly dragging it around in the box

well if you guys would speak English over here

All he said is "corner tape", and you guys/lads are like, "well of coarse, he's talking about the metal flex external corner tape with metal bonded to it. Silly me, I thought paper tape, and maybe, just maybe he meant no-coat

Over here, a person that lays tape and coats it for preparation of painter,,,,,, is called a taper, that's not too hard to figure.

A person that installs drywall is a .......... drywaller...... thats simple

A person that sprays textuered ceilings with a spray machine, is called ,,,,, a spray guy.... complicated so far right ??????

A person that uses hotmud with mesh tape is called ........... fired

So what do you guys call yourselves , Ive seen stuff like got the tapers but need some jointers, then something called a dapper or something. You're angle tapes you call internals, and I'm guessing your angles are what we call beads.

    You guys are confusing

We say zed, and we use the british spelling etc

Your right about the french thing though, about 10 years ago, Quebec voted to see if it should separate, they voted 51% to stay. The rest of English Canada is waiting for the day when we get to vote to keep them or not

their just one big welfare province now

Oh, and thanks for Craig Ferguson, that guys a hoot

You gotta admit, Thats a dam funny clip, We say Zed and some say Zee, Zee flows better, X Y ZEE Or X Y ZED, But then we have a strange mix of metric and imperial measure as well.
