Irish.... Go home and leave us locals in jobs!!
so...... goverment fund for new school`s projects £160,000,000 who does the contract`s go to? the bloody irish..... yes those who dont want to be or have anything to do with the uk.......
although they get 160million worth of work. and only give out a small contract to a couple of the local firms. this causing havoc and many locals being made redundant.
why was this work given to them? so they could pour their concrete founds in minus 14 oc weather? we cant get readymix concrete from the suppliers if the temp is below 3oc so how do they get off with this?
also they have started boarding and taping the building which isnt yet waterproof no windows or doors in? when it rains it rains and the place floods plasterboards soaking already and painting has begun......
like alot of people due to no work today i got my 2 weeks notice before being paid off as there just isnt any work the irish are swallowing everything up......... alot of other boys within the same firm as myself got their notice also. and quite a few other companies are also paying off and one went bust not that long ago.
i just dont understand this at all why all this money is going to ireland? they have the contracts and the materials are also all being shipped from there so no money is actually getting pumped into the community or local buisness`s
its pretty damn stressing as im sure many of you guys know when you recieve your notice. as you know theres hardly any work out there not to mention you go jobseekers allowance £100 a fortnight? and classes called "back to work"
i find it rather amusing that they make you do a "back to work/prep course" how can you do that course when theres no bloody work to go back to????
and after a while the dole/jobcentre make you go work for the irish for an extra tenner a week yes....... £60 a week for working 6 days 8am to 6pmand if your lucky enough to get employed by them youd be working for £6 - £8 an hour thats what they were offering time served electricians and plumbers.

I feel conflicted now
being one part Irish and Scottish in heritage , why would they do that, I thought you guys had a common goal of hating the British.
Maybe the yanks can send you guys some Mexicans for a while, that will put them out of work

when i was working on Stobhill hospital there were times you could go int the canteen and be the only scot in it, full of poles, irish, phillipinos and bulgarians. the BBC stuidios were the same only with Rumanians thrown into the mix.
I kept in touch with a couple of the Polish tapers who have gone back home as work is picking up there, they are in a stadium and sports complex and NO WORKERS FROM OUTSIDE POLAND are allowed on it, couldnt make it up.
