Is a masons roller an internals roller,,,,taping angles??

a masonry roller is used to paint external walls of houses/building/wall etc...... textured surfaces like..... roughcast which is surprisingly a rough finish and needs a good heavy duty long pile roller to apply the paint evenly and into all the gaps ......
