Gyptone / Rigitone
I don't know if these boards are used a lot in the UK ( the ones with the holes in them for acoustic properties which make any lack of craftmenship by the hangers really , really dreadfull
)
There are tubes from Semin called "sem-light" which contain a light weight filler.
Like the red-devil/onetime type off stuff.
I am not aware if they are carrying this stuff in the UK and it is quite expensive but i might be worth the hassle to threaten your local supplier to carry this stuff because it sure as hell beats mixing tiny amounts of filler by hand and putting it in reusable tubes
(link to dutch site with product : http://www.bouwproducten.nl/schilder...atiepasta.html )
The "Vogl" system also kinda works and they have different widths of tape so one can stick it on the edges also if the holes are cut halfway.

The best solution offcourse is to not use the damn boards in the firstplace

Only ever saw these boards mentioned once or twice before, funnily enough one time was from a stukadoorsbedrijf contractor near Alkmaar early last year.
Your messages are really important to us
...but not important enough to employ a sufficient number of support staff to answer them.

I'll probably be familiar with the compagny then seeing i live close to Alkmaar to.
It does get used ever so often in Holland , yet i am rejoiced you have not heard from these boards much , they are a pain to tape
