Olympic Work
Has anybody else noticed that there is a constant stream of adverts on the net for tapers at Olympic sites. I can only deduce that either the pay and working conditions are pretty bad, or they are re doing most of it because of poor workmanship.Has anyone had any Olympic experience and can shine some light on this?

Olympics not too far from me, but I haven't got the card and I don't speak polish! which surely has to be a prerequisite of working on this site. Done some refurb work in Stratford for a mate and the word is "don't go near it". As far as prices go the best i've heard is 1.50m2 for boarding and 1.30m2 for metal (labour) I don't know about Tape and Joint but it'll be equally monkey i'm sure. How the ***K can you pay someone less for metal than board? They must be on the pipe!
