Ceiling repair help/advice
I have been asked to repair a ceiling that is skimmed but has two nice straight cracks in it, I have been up above and can see that the joist were not nogged before boarding and its 16" centres so Im guessing this is the problem. My plan is to nog it out from above then re screw it from below and then patch the crack and screw spots.
Q. Is this the way to go.
