Automatic and hand tools, sanders, stilts etc. What's hot and what's not.

    Default Sheetrock Flex Tape

Anyone used this? Been given a box cos Knauf are controlling pissimmons now and want us to use this (cos they've bought USG)
They realise their own tape is crap so are giving rolls of this stuff out to try. Now, from what I've read and heard of Sheetrock USG in the past, they are highly rated but now the Knauf meisters are in the door I'm not so sure.
    Thoughts?

used it for a while a few months back EK,very easy to work with but jeez it could blow for scotland, make sure any bad edges are filled or surformed then hope for the best, and dont do arches with it.edges have got to be mint to have any chance with it. went back to wondertex which ive got to admit is good just now.

ps,if its shaped like a banana when you cut a length, bin it ,think that may be reason its blowing, when you put it on you are forcing it straight so its under stress all the time then starts to blow.

Hi,tried a roll from belmore as a freebie a while ago, can't say I liked it.I found the metal was too close together in places causing it to be hard to fold.
