cheers EK,first new kit ive had in 30 years of taping,always been refurbed stuff from speedtape or subbies that ive worked for,wished i had done it years ago,tools will probably outlast me hehe.

Thanks for feedback!! what i will be doing is running a few promotions with slightly better finance rates, when i have these i will re post - but like you all say - cheaper than hiring so why not buy! modern taping tools are very well built and spares are readilly available and don't cost as much as they used too.
Some have mentioned that idf they hire they have the security of just sending a machine back and swapping it for another when it breaks - but we see this as a dissadvantage for a couple of reasons!
If you send back you will receive a tool that has been factory reset and probably not set up to your way of taping or finishing (a bigger problem on boxes and angle heads, the baldes wear to your style of finishing)
Another issue we see is that 90 % of all tool breakages can be fixed with a little paitience and if need be a friedly call to Belmores staff who will alsway be happy to talk you through a quick repair.
