There was a Flex sander posted for sale in the Classifieds section 9 days ago, and a Porter Cable a few days before that --> http://www.tapingandjointing.com/for...ds-marketplace

Hi. I have a flex vario plus sander and done a few houses with it.. But i am not to sure about it. It seems to to sand ok in one direction but move it they other and it bounces or takes half the filler off and the brushes seem to be a bit stiff. Didn't know if it is needing worked in or not. Was using a festool before and it seamed a lot quicker. the triangular head work fine but with the round head it takes for ever. Any one else had this

Seegs24 cam I ask ifyou have an interface pad on top of the pad first pad? We always send one of these with a new various sander as the pad is too far back if used without one. Let me know if you need one

Got the pad for the sander but it doesn't seem to make much difference. it is still leaving swirl marks and gouges in the tapes. any ideas of what's wrong.

Perhaps the paper is too tough for the compound? Rub two sheets of paper together to change the grade and see if that helps.
I had different grades of paper available and always had to use the 100 or 120 for British Gypsum, whereas I could use 180 for Arrowlite Walls and Ceilings brand.Your messages are really important to us

The sheets are mirka gold 120 grit. The sander seems to bounce on the wall as well. Cant figure out what is wrong as its only a few months old. Will try rubbing the sheets together and will get a different make of sheet.

Hi apologies my inbox was full! This is a weird one, Can I ask does the sander wobble on the head even when it's not on the wall?

Turning the speed down will help with the 'bouncing'. Bit of a mystery as to what's causing it though
