    Default Sanding Dust evasion

Ok I sand with a machine and Vac which is Ok but then I like to do my internals with blocks. The problem is when I have finished I look like a bloody snow man or uncle Fester. I don't mind that its part of the job But my eyes really suffer Im digging the crap out of them for days. What do you guy use to stop this I have tried lots over the years but nothing seems to work well. Im now thinking of getting a full face dust mask, I know the dust will gather on the lens and hinder vision but I carnt see much with 10lb of crap in each eye either.

Can you not do your internals in a way that minimizes the sanding? Failing that, a flex Edge sander on a pole gets in tight and keeps you away from the dust.

Its right up in the corners that's the most problem along with high ceilings where you have to stand more directly underneath. A flex edge sander ???don't know that one I'll go look. Thanks

Sanded down a house this morning and used my new corner sander that I bought from you know who (Belmore) I can confirm that it works very well especially on a pole, great for getting right in the corners where the machine don't reach.

Thats alright mate, I thought your remark was funny. You're not the first to have had crossed wires and confusion with UK and US slang. We even created a translator for your friend 2buckcanuck, it will be in the archives somewhere.
