    I just had a text from an agency that I have worked for They are looking for dryliners/tape&jointers for 3 months work in Bermuda, must have a blue card and references air fair and accommodation all Paid and he rate is 19 p/hour. This is not for me but if any one of you are interested get in touch and I'll give you the details. (for a price)

    True but do they seriously think that 19p/h is enough to tempt you away from home

    On the basis of, if your not working at the moment, 19ph is good, even away from home.

    You'd have to be very disciplined. 19ph wouldn't go far once I'd started hiring windsurfers, hobie cat's and found a good bar!
    The last time I worked abroad was on Jersey, for very good money(and tax free). To work abroad you want 250 a day minimum plus expenses. However as Brian rightly points out, something is always better than nothing, and you get a tan.
