    Default g-tec smart mix extra


    what is this stuff like to use compared to quicksand?

    i've heard it sands well but has it got any body to it,cover well etc etc

    Me and Jase swear by it. Goes on nice, covers beads well, dries fairly quickly and sands easily. It's not soft like that Sheetrock stuff. Aim to pay about 14 a tub plus vat. We don't use anything else.

    cheers tony, been looking to try other finishing compound for a while now.
    selco are selling it for 24.65 + vat per 20kg tub. which i thought was a bit strong.

    do you run it through the boxes or apply by hand?

    Any thinning down or whisking up needed or are you using it straight out the tub Tony?
