    Default Coventry Motor Museum

Just had a family reunion in Coventry the last 2 days (more or less central to the 3 of us )We had a wander around the town, and came across this museum, free admission, to say this place is outstanding is an under statement
Here's just a taster, if your in the vicinity go and waste a few hours, you will not be disappointed

    Thrust 2

Everything in here was built in Coventry, and they have only got 60% of what they have there, more time and I would have spent it there

Nice pics Brian. I would love to handbrake turn the 'Thrust 2' at high speed right into the walls of our old web-hosts headquarters.

So how does Coventry manage free admission? Donations or having to sell one of their display models to a collector every now and then? There's a motor museum just down the road from me and they charge 7 entry fee. http://www.myretonmotormuseum.co.uk/
Your messages are really important to us
...but not important enough to employ a sufficient number of support staff to answer them.

I've got loads more on the phone, it's a veritable wonderland in there.
I think donations wouldn't cover much, my guess is they're funded somehow, and I reckon the people that work there are volunteers, (just a guess)

They have a Thrust Simulator that you can go on

    Well worth the visit
